The bottom line is, Invisible Children has decided to produce a beautiful documentary with an ugly agenda that only escalates conflict and endorses General Museveni who really believes it’s a good thing for the United States to be sending troops to Uganda or anywhere in Africa. Why would these troops act any differently than those sent to Iraq and Afghanistan?

Kony is a nightmare, but Museveni has caused the deaths of millions of people in Rwanda, Uganda and Congo. In 2005 the International Court of Justice found Uganda liable for what amounts to war crimes in Congo: mass rapes of both women and men; disemboweling pregnant women; burning people inside their homes alive; massacres and; plunder of resources. Congo lost six million people after Uganda’s occupation of parts of Congo. The Court awarded Congo $10 billion in reparations; not a dime has been paid.
Congo then referred the same crimes to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague for war crimes charges. On June 8, 2006, The Wall Street Journal reported that Gen. Museveni personally contacted Kofi Annan, then UN Secretary General and asked him to block the criminal investigation.
It seems that the U.S. and ICC Prosecutor Moreno Ocampo might have indeed obliged. Gen. Museveni and senior Ugandan military commanders remain un-indicted for the alleged crimes that the ICJ already found Uganda liable; only one side of the same coin, Kony was indicted. Prosecutor Ocampo is also totally discredited; Google, “Ocampo and South African journalist case” to see this story.

Two House lawmakers have introduced a resolution that seeks to deepen US Military involvement in Africa on the back of the Kony 2012 hoax, despite the fact that Joseph Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army have been virtually inactive for six years.
“The resolution, introduced by Reps. Jim McGovern, D-Mass. and Ed Royce, R-Calif., calls for, among other things, expanding the number of regional forces in Africa to protect civilians and placing restrictions on individuals or governments found to be supporting Kony,” reports CBS News.
As we have seen from US involvement in Libya and its attempts to destabilize Syria, the “humanitarian” justification is merely an excuse for expanding US hegemony into Africa where China has aggressively staked its claim.
As we highlighted on Monday, the establishment-manufactured hype surrounding Kony 2012 is nothing more than a cynical ruse designed to manipulate naive do-gooders into legitimizing another US-backed “humanitarian” assault aimed at swallowing up Africa’s resources and land under Africom.
While Joseph Kony and his army disappeared six years ago, Ugandans are being killed and evicted in their thousands by western entities right now — but nobody is making ‘viral’ films about the crisis and no celebrities are tweeting their displeasure.
Invisible Children, the group behind Kony 2012 has created a groundswell of support for Uganda’s dictator Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, a man who has been in control of the country for 30 years and was returned to power in an election last year that was rife with fraud according to European Union observers.
Museveni has been implicated in genocide after ordering his guards to shoot and kill civilians. He is also notorious for bumping off his political enemies. “The group is in favour of direct military intervention, and their money supports the Ugandan government’s army and various other military forces,” writes the Visible Children website, which has documented the hoax behind Kony 2012. “Here’s a photo of the founders of Invisible Children posing with weapons and personnel of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. Both the Ugandan army and Sudan People’s Liberation Army are riddled with accusations of rape and looting, but Invisible Children defends them, arguing that the Ugandan army is “better equipped than that of any of the other affected countries”, although Kony is no longer active in Uganda and hasn’t been since 2006 by their own admission. These books each refer to the rape and sexual assault that are perennial issues with the UPDF, the military group Invisible Children is defending.”
The Kony 2012 group itself has been exposed as a ruthless business empire that spends the majority of its income on its own expenses. The organization refuses to allow its financials to be properly audited and has a low two-star rating in accountability from Charity Navigator.

Libya Accuses NATO Of Killing 85 Civilians In Airstrike
Desperate NATO Killed 85 More Civilians, Including Children, Near Zlitan, Libya
News you won’t see on Western Media: Ramadan Massacre – 33 children, 32 women and 20 men from 12 families were killed in the slaughter.
The Libyan government said 85 people in a refugee center near Zlitan were massacred in the early hours of Monday morning by NATO strikes. The families have fled the NATO rebels in Misrata and other areas of Libya under insurgents’ terror.
The Libyan government announced three days of mourning for the victims, according to state television.
Mussa Ibrahim, the Libyan government spokesman, said: “After the first three bombs dropped at around 21:00 GMT on Monday, many residents of the area ran to the bombed houses to try to save their loved ones.”
“Three more bombs struck. Thirty-three children, 32 women and 20 men from 12 families were killed in the massacre,” Mussa told reporters on an organized visit.
Ibrahim accused NATO of bombing Majer to clear the way for rebels to advance on the embattled government-controlled city of Zlitan, located just a few kilometers to the north.
For weeks, NATO warplanes have been bombing Zlitan on a daily basis. Meanwhile, rebels have been pressing toward Zlitan’s eastern gates from the nearby opposition-held port of Misrata.
In response to the tragedy, NATO propaganda machine using Nazi tactics of WWII. “We do not have evidence of civilian casualties at this stage, although military casualties, including mercenaries, are very likely owing to the nature of the target” Colonel Roland Lavoie, the NATO spokesman for the alliance’s Libya campaign, cynically said at its Naples headquarters.
Determined to prove there was no presence of military personnel, Libyan government officials escorted a busload of foreign journalists to the scene of the bombardment.
Libyan state television has been airing grisly night-time footage of rescuers digging through rubble with their bare hands and in some cases uncovering severed limbs.
There was little doubt that 60-year-old Ali Mufta Hamed Gafes’ family had just suffered terrible, heart-wrenching tragedy.
Next to the ruins of his two-story house, another elderly man embraced him, weeping.
Later, Gafes visited the intensive care unit at Zlitan’s main hospital, and sobbed by the bedside of his wounded wife.
Anna Kondrateva, a nurse from Ukraine, said Gafes’ wife lost one of her legs in the bomb attack.
“I am 54 years old,” said Olga Burmak, another Ukrainian nurse. “I never knew what war was until NATO started bombing Zlitan several weeks ago.”
Hospital workers said almost all the other wounded people had been transported to Tripoli for treatment.
Instead, they brought journalists to a morgue that was overflowing with corpses. Many were badly mangled and burned.
A man stood amid the bodies and pools of blood, showing journalists the grisly faces of the dead. Screaming at the top of his lungs, he denounced NATO. At one point, he lifted the dead body of a 2-year-old girl named Arwa to emphasize his point.
Arwa’s father, Atiya Abdul Salam, stood waiting outside.
He said his mother and another daughter were both badly wounded in Monday night’s attack.
And he listed the names of eight other members of his extended family who had been killed when the bombs slammed into his house: An elderly woman named Salima, Ahmed, Abdullah, Riham, Ahzar, Hanan, Abdul Moheiman and another woman named Salima who was 25.
NATO continues to lie that its mission in Libya is “to protect civilians against attacks or threat of attack.”
If 85 civilians had in fact been killed Monday night, this would mark the bloodiest case of civilian casualties caused by aerial bombardment since NATO began its bombing campaign nearly five months ago.
The military alliance has also rejected growing international criticism of its air strike on Libyan television last month, saying it had no evidence the attack caused any casualties.
Spokeswoman Carmen Romero said the alliance had not deliberately targeted journalists. Using infamous Goebbels’s policy: “If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth” she said the alliance “targeted equipment that had been used to incite attacks against civilians.” It is obvious – Killing civilians, terrorize the population — this is NATO war strategy in Libya. Sadly, this approach approved by absurd Nobel prize winner Obama and bloodthirsty Hillary Clinton, along with unmerciful Cameron, Sarkozy and other leaders of aggressive NATO member states.
Libyan officials said the strike on the eve of the Muslim fasting month, Ramadan, on the state television’s satellite transmitters killed three journalists and injured 15 others.
International journalists’ groups condemned the strikes, saying they violated a UN resolution banning attacks on the media.
On Monday, the UN cultural and educational body also denounced the strike, saying it violated the Geneva Conventions.
Media Manipulation: ‘NATO in a hurry to wrap up war in Libya’
NATO’s presence in Libya little resembles a humanitarian mission with houses, hospitals and schools being hit. But Libya prospered prior to NATO’s intrusion, Yvonne Di Vito, an activist from Libyanfriends.com told RT. RT: You have been saying that here in Italy the news reports abut what is happening in Libya were very confusing, a lot of conflicting information there. Can you tell us what you saw and what you found?
Yvonne Di Vito: We went to Libya on the 28th July and we came back on the 7th August and we found a totally different situation because NATO was bombarding civilians.
The bombings were not only carried out on military targets, but they also hit houses, hospitals, schools, television centers, and this was totally against the humanitarian reasons they said they were there for.
I believe they were doing this to bring panic in the city. That’s why they were bombing the things that people use daily, like places with food and essential utilities like hospitals.
This was also a difficult period for Muslims because of Ramadan and that is why in the daytime they’re in their houses. We went to Tripoli and to Zitan and we saw huge protests with thousands of pro-Gaddafi supporters turning out against NATO and all these demonstrations were not shown in Italy.
We also visited Tanjur and Sansur and found a lot of women that were screaming at us, asking ‘Why you Italians are bombing us? What did we do to you? Why are you killing our children?’ That was their main question. When we went to Zitan, the same day they bombed a house and in this house two children were killed. We tried to show the pictures of these children that were dead. But apart from us, no one else did the same.
Except the things that we saw with our own eyes visiting these places that were bombed, we have so much material that press officers and journalists from Libya gave to us as testimony to all the dead from the NATO bombings.
After all the things that we saw we have one question: is this a humanitarian war? Are they really helping the civilians, because I believe that all this is because of economic reasons, or at least there are other reasons that this war happened, petroleum or other things.
We also visited Libya before and what we found was a normal situation where people were fine. Differently from other countries that went through a revolution — Libya is considered to be the Switzerland of the African continent and is very rich and schools are free for the people. Hospitals are free for the people. And the conditions for women are much better than in other Arab countries.

NATO has bombed a hospital in Sirte, after bombing a hotel and residential apartments in its latest intensified terror attacks. Almost 400 innocent people have been killed in these terror attacks.
This is not the first time NATO has bombed such fascilities in support of Human Rights. Previously NATO bombed a clinic in Zlitan, then NATO bombed a University in Tripoli, then NATO bombed a peace conference in Brega, bombed a village, bombed farms, bombed food storage fascilities, bombed water pipe lines, bombed repair factory for water pipelines etc…..
